Our wooden bench tops are crafted from the highest quality, a-grade timbers and are manufactured in europe to demanding standards, using the latest cnc machinery. the top quality furniture grade timber is quarter sawn, finger-jointed into ~40mm staves and pressure bonded to form a durable top.. The joins between each piece of benchtop are invisible after installation, so it seems like one big slab of stone. you can also have the sink moulded into the benchtop so there’s nowhere for dirt to collect, making it easier to keep clean. it’s also uv resistant so is the perfect choice for an outdoor kitchen which is so popular these days.. We have a 100+ year old wooden house. doors, architraves etc baltic pine. we love the warm feeling of the wood and wish to try our kitchen benchtop in the wood. yes i realise its a soft wood and we don't really want a varnish finish. any suggestions / advice, apart from don't use a soft wood..
